Yngwie has an ego the size of the goddamn Moon, but yeah, the boy can play.

If someone had described that clip to me I would have thought it totally lame, but it's AWESOME!

I was thinking more along the lines of nobody knowing who the guy wa. It would have been one thing if she quoted Mein Kampf, Das Kapital or the Koran, but some obscure never-made-into-a-TV-show guy? Joe Sixpack won't care.

Is that really going to be a problem for her?

I was hoping to wake up to disbelieving gasps and hooting laughter over her craziness and verbal fumbling so I'm a bit disappointed.

I can't quite get that to work, but I'm not too good with that sort of thing.

Absurd by Fluke, a true pan-geek song
King Kong in Cannes, on a date with Spider-man Dan Dare’s sitting there, scared by the killer teddy bears Downtown, Minnie Mouse is slipping Mickey’s in the famous grouse While Big Bird spreads the word— Anybody with a heart votes love Judge Dredd, found dead, face down in Snoopy’s bed Outside, Tweetie Pie’s getting itchy on more supplies Meanwhile, Snow White getting ready for work tonight Turning tricks with crystal tips— Trying to make the best of it’s absurd
Puppy dogs and pussy cats in suspect suicide attacks Captain Kirk from planet earth fights it out with Papa Smurf Some phony little ponies, preying on the old and lonely Making friends, robbing them, X-Men taught them everything Betty Boop’s tired of life, took vows, became a bride of Christ While Tin Tin’s been playing him at Caesar’s palace live on ice Babar Kum-ba-yahs with the Mighty Morphin’ movie stars As Big Bird spreads the word— Anybody with a heart votes love

This is probably old news to you guys, but today was the first time I heard of it. Oliver Stone directs "W." A movie about the Bush presidency. To be released in November. www.imdb.com/title/tt1175491/It's news to me. Weird news. I wonder what he'll make of the coke and AWOL issues?

Looking at the opinion pieces out there, there are a lot of calls for the McCain campaign to "let Palin be Palin". We can only hope they do let the book-burning, creationist, going-on-a-plane-in-labor, abstention-teaching-with-pregnant-daughter, bridge-loving, petty ignorama be herself. On the one hand, this could deep-six the McCain campaign once and for all. On the other, the "average American" could decide that they love Palin more than ever before. Honestly, I don't think the average voters are the problem. It's the sub-average ones you have to look out for.
