Michael Crichton just died of Cancer.
The effect this man has had on our world has been pretty extensive, if not always the most well executed.

Damn. 66 is still young, in this day and age.
And yes, I was a fan of Crichton's earlier works, before he basically became John Grisham With Some Science-y Stuff Thrown In.
The novel of Jurassic Park was what introduced me to Chaos Theory, which has continued to shape my worldview.
It's too bad.
