So, Bleeding Cool is more-or-less confirming the OMDing of the Lois and Clark marriage.
HOORAY! I don't have to give a fuck about DC for at least a few years! Huzzah!

I don't know, they made a pretty big jump, IMO. From:
"…explore all facets of it. Not just as it exists currently."
to
"The marriage is being erased!"
While it very well may be true (and I don't really care, either way) I think BC is reading too much into it.

Possibly. We'll know for sure in September. It's really the only facet of this reboot I give a crap about.

I'm only slightly interested in Action... and I'll probably tradewait for that.
(It's Grant… of COURSE it'll be traded)

The problem with the break-up of the marriage and the restoration of the Lois/Superman/Clark triangle is that it turns Lois Lane, Ace Reporter and Role Model for girls and women everywhere, one really strong female character that in her own way is as inspiring as Superman...
... into the world's most stupid bitch.
Because while the glasses might fool people who aren't around Clark and Superman all the time, who only know them slightly and in passing, it wouldn't fool a person with even slightly more than average intelligence for any length of time.
By restoring the love triangle, you turn Lois Lane back into the misogynistic parody of a professional observer (which is what a reporter is, you need to remember -- or used to be, back when reporters were still reporters instead of press release regurgitators) that she was in the Golden Age.

Breaking up the marriage doesn't automatically equal restoring the Lois/Superman/Clark triangle. Rumor has it that Superman will be hooking up with Wonder Woman. Which is a thousand times worse, IMHO, but will probably sell a few comics.

Actually, I strongly suspect that Lois Lane won't be in the rebooted Superman at all. She's covered by the rights that DC are losing, so this could be (like the Superman redesign) a chance for DC to get rid of all the things they'd have to pay the Siegels to use.

Given that Morrison is specifically calling back to the Golden Age stories, I'm fairly certain that the lawsuit has little to do with the revamp.

Never ever underestimate the lengths Big Two comics will go to in order to screw over creators.

Clearly, Geoff Johns is a dog person. Possibly like this:
