Not bad. Someone else can do the comparisons for the JSA and the Teen Titans, as they aren't primary fandoms for me.

Teen Titans (taken from all incarnations): Kirk = Raven, always trying (and frequently failing) to hold the inner darkness in check) Michael = Kid Flash: the responsible one Jesse = Terra: the psychotic one Paul = I'm having trouble with this match-up. If I had to choose, I might go with Wonder Girl (Donna Troy) Mario = He probably expects Cyborg. Just for that, nope. Too obvious. I choose Tim Drake Robin instead. Joe = Aqualad - Occasionally dropping by Anders = Changeling, the TT's Beast Johann = Starfire. Fun-loving and a bit alien Jard = Damage

Jens = Cyborg. Smart but prone to moodiness Paul = Nightwing. Has had some tragedies but always comes back. Jesse = Phantasm. Not nearly as impressive as he thinks he is. Kirk = Speedy/Arsenal - a nice enough guy, but he's got some issues he needs to work out. Mario = Tim Drake/Robin. Agreed. Anders = Changeling. Also Agreed. Joe = Eh, I'll sign off on Aqualad/Tempest Johann = Starfire works Jard = Blue Beetle - he can handle himself on his own without the team, but he hangs out from time to time, just because.

I've got a challenge for you folks...
The KInvisbles.

And here's where I admit to having never read the series.
Going back to Teen Titans for a bit - I dispute the Kid Flash (btw, I'm assuming you meant Wally, Jens)
For me, if I were to pick for myself,
I'd probably go with Kon-El/Conner Kent/Superboy - really wants to be Superman, but has to work really hard not to give in to his more emo/Luthor urges.

And here's where I admit to having never read the series. That's OK, it's not the usual fare. I'll admit I'm not entirely clear myself why everyone thinks I'm Tim. Most of the time, I feel more like Gnarrk.

I'm with Michael: I've never read Invisibles either.
And Michael: yes, Wally. I forgot that Bart changed his costumed ID to Kid Flash. He'll always be Impulse to me.

I've read Invisibles, but it was ages ago. I don't even remember the names of most of the characters. King Mob and... that doll girl, and the tranny... Lord something or other?

Alright, what's probably going to end up being the second last post (for me) in this thread.
The Kboxstorm Universe
I tried, tried to figure out a single team that would work for this - there isn't, so I'm doing this line wide. One other disclaimer; because I know there are still a few people on the forum who are (rightfully) pissed over the Micah Wright thing, I refrained from picking any characters from Stormwatch: Team Achilles, despite the fact that I think there' s a couple good fits there and that IMO, it was the last time Wildstorm was anything akin to relevant.
Moving on
Kirk - Grunge. Tends to play the horny goofball, thus getting underestimated when you remember he's also smart. Jens - Winter. Dedicated, loyal, but prone to depression and feelings of insecurity. Jesse - Ladytron. Is kept around despite the fact that it probably causes more headaches than it's worth. Mario - Battalion. A good man who occassionally gets sidelined and distracted by side-issues, but knows when and how to make things work out for the best. Jard - Spartan. Cool. Precise. On Target. Unyielding and Nigh-unstoppable. Anders - Fuji. Because everyone loves Fuji. If you don't, then you're wrong. Paul - Mr. Majestic - tried by tragedy but still strong. The best of us.

Possibly, but I personally don't think so.

Alright, so this is it, the finale (as far as I'm concerned). Actually, all said, this is pretty good - 100 posts for a thread that's really not much more than self-casting.
CROSS CONTINUITY TEAM UP TIME!
The gimmick is simple, you pick for each member the character that best fits them, BUT, it has to be a character you or someone else has selected for them at some point earlier in this thread.
And...here...we...go
Anders: Beast. Funny, a bit off-center, and one that everyone everywhere can get along with. Jard: Hawkman. OK, it's Hawkman, and I don't think we really need to go any further here. Jens: Martian Manhunter. Kirk: Lightning Lad Jesse: Wolverine. We're not really sure why he's here, but he's here, so...that's that I guess? Mario: Vic Sage/The Question - I don't care if anyone agrees, I stand by this one. Paul: Captain America. He whom is the center. Joe: Element Lad. Johann: Mister Miracle.
Huh...very DC-Centric. Oh well.
Your turn,
Michael

I have a couple of ideas on how to keep this going. I'll be back with them later today. Consider yourselves warned.

First wave: Television. Except for sci-fi, fantasy, animation and western. Those will get their own categories.
So: who of the Kboxers is which TV character?
The catch: only one character per show. For example, I pick McGarrett for Kirk. It would be easy to choose Dano for Jesse, because those two characters go well together on the show. I want to avoid that. It'd be too easy.
Kirk = Steve McGarrett, of the Hawaii 5-0 reboot. Former soldier. Now thoroughly professional, but with anger management problems, opinionated and stubborn.
Michael = McGyver. Idealistic, and knows how to turn anything into anything else.
Jard = Joe Mannix, from Mannix. The one outside the box.
Anders = Colt Seavers, from Fall Guy. Laid back, but knows exactly what he's doing.
Joe = Vincent Terranova, from Wiseguy. It's his job to be invisible.
Jesse = Adrian Monk, from Monk. Three letters that say it all: OCD.
Johann = Harry Hooperman, from Hooperman, because his life tends to be a bit in the bizarre side.
Paul = Jarod, from Pretender. Extremely adaptable.
Mario = Dominic Santini, from Airwolf. The real brains in the cockpit, but you really couldn't tell because he doesn't want to make the pilot look bad.

Hooperman was one of my favorite shows.
