Halloween time, and you know what that means: Public humiliationAwesome costumes! As you may recall, last year he made a surprisingly effective Lex Luthor, as he was still cueball-bald at the time: A year later, and things have ... changed. Cancer treatment all but wrapped up in June, and although we've got several months of fallout from a screwed-up immune system to deal with, not to mention cancer's nasty recurrence rate, he is, for the moment, completely tumor-free Before the cancer came along, we planned on having him go last Halloween as Peter Davison's Fifth Doctor, thanks to his long floppy hair. Now that the long floppy hair has mostly come back, we had exactly that plan in mind. But while shopping at the goodwill store, we came across an all-too-perfect velvet jacket, and, well, you know .. Such a ham. The moment he got the jacket on he kept exclaiming "Doc-tee Who!" I don't think he's ever even seen a Pertwee ep! Admittedly, that's a Tennant-era screwdriver, but I'm too damn cheap to shell out for a Pertwee edition at the moment. Besides, he likes the light too much! I told him "reverse the Dalek's polarity!" and this is what he did. I am so damn proud sometimes. More to come soon!

A born actor! And I'm sure he'll love that you have all this pictures when he brings his first girlfriend (or, let's keep an open mind, boyfriend) around.

AWESOME. He is the coolest kid EVER. Although, if you really want a Pertwee-era Sonic Screwdriver? Tire pressure gauge. Five bucks at a hardware store.

Mike: FAN-tastic. Halloween blogpost approved!
I'm reminded of another good phrase: "They're ruffles. I wear ruffles now. Ruffles are COOL."
Kirk: I really should have thought of that! He's already been to one Halloween party, but if we do another, I'm definitely going with the pressure gauge.
The best part of all this is that the velvet coat is a frakkin' Mary-Kate and Ashley brand!
