Thread for us posting our various fanboy-type dreams that we dream at night;
One particularly strong dream I had fanboy-wise, was a couple of years back when I dreamed I was before TPTB at the Sci-Fi Channel to screen an episode of Battlestar Galactica that I was hired to write and direct.
I discuss the plot: the episode was a spotlight episode for Kat and Racetrack, the two female pilots on the show, who end up chasing down a crazy guy who is obsessed with the notion that he can tell if people are Cylons by maiming them and examining the blood that comes out from the wounds. The B-Plot had Laura Roslin being tormented by an underground newspaper, run by special guest star Michael Muhney (of Veronica Mars fame).
The hatchet wielding crazy is obsessed with Laura as far as seeing her as being in the right and thinks Muhney's character is a Cylon because his left-wing newsletter is critical of Laura. So he hunts down the writer and chops off his hands, leading to a dramatic moment where Kat and Racetrack arrive too late and find Muhney's character holding out his stump limbs, screaming as blood pours out from them.
In my dream, I show them the clip of Kat and Racetrack finding Muhney, all maimed and such and Bonnie Hammer (who is in the group of Sci-Fi executives) FAINTS at the sight of the blood. I just stand there, shocked as everyone rushes to Hammer's side as I end up waking up before anything else happens.
