I thank you for posting this, because it is indeed relevant to my interests, but I have some bones to pick with the producers of this feature, starting with the fact that they can't even get their fucking terminology right.
"Cougar" is the universally-recognized term for "older woman pursuing younger men." "Puma" became nationally recognized in 2008 as the term for "Hillary Clinton supporter who would rather vote Republican than vote for Obama."
They're going to get some VERY confused moviegoers with that title, because even when I saw the title of this thread, I thought, "Wow, I never knew that Aniston had a problem with Obama."

It seems you're out of touch with the terminology, Kirk. From Urban Dictionary: www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=pumaAn attractive woman in her late 20s or early 30s. She is a pre-cougar/urban cougar.
I think that puma just grabbed my ass.

I think that puma just grabbed my ass. Well, I'll be damned. I stand corrected. That being said? I still think quite a few folks are going to get confused by this one, especially coming off the 2008 elections. And considering that Jennifer Aniston is 40, I STILL say the movie producers have their slang wrong.

I think you should be happy that a woman who's turned 40 gets to play the role of a seductress.

I think you should be happy that a woman who's turned 40 gets to play the role of a seductress. I'd agree, except that it's still kind of half-assed, because they can't even acknowledge the actress' actual age, which implies that the moviemakers still think that 40 is "too old" to be an attractive "older woman."

There's no helping you, Kirk. You're an incurable pessimist.
