OK, so today's comics stuff in short: The Mighty? Don't give a shit. www.bleedingcool.com/2011/07/13/superman-713-the-return-of-kittengate/I'm going to call this: Either Rich Johnston is a dupe or he's a shill. I realize he's never been that credible, but the fact that he went against Comicsalliance when they entered the not-illogical notion that DC was dodging possible controversy makes me lean towards "shill" at this point. That's about it on my end.

So: Cowboys & Aliens is, bascially, Clint Eastwood vs. Aliens. In spirit, anyway. I've been more sorry for seeing a movie, but it's not one I'd bother wanting to see again. A bit overstuffed, and trying a bit too hard to be Hard Men Riding Lonely Trails.
So: Captain America GO FUCKING SEE IT ALREADY. Seriously. That good.

So: Captain America GO FUCKING SEE IT ALREADY. Seriously. That good. Not out in theatres here yet - when it is, I shall. Possibly abducting my brother from work or his fiancee in the process.

Just watched part of the trailer (I didn't want to spoil too much and it was extremely spoileriffic) and it does indeed look awesome.

Ahem:
Watching Dan Didiot, Moronson and Geoff-off try and justify the retconning of Supermarriage just reminds me that corporate comic fans get what they deserve - in this case a Superman devoid of humanity, saddled with angst and emo, who has no growth or future.
The adults have left the building - it's just the manboy fanboys now.
Seriously, reading these interviews makes "Smallville" look good by comparison. And of course, I'm sure Chris Sims et. al. will be falling all over this because it's Morrison and he can - O STFU STFU STFU!!!
This has been my moment of Jesse-level nerdrage. Carry on.

Grant Morrison; How his head doesn't explode from the contradiction MUST be magic www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=33444And here's one for Kirk Oh, and here's the other thing. I swear, we should make a pact that should any of us get the chance, we get to absolutely DESTROY Animal Man's marriage, and then make sure copies are sent to Grant Morrison's home and shown to him. Fuck this guy. Edited to Add: Sorry, had to fix the posters

You're assuming it was his choice to erase the Super-marriage. he could have been taking a shot at the brain trust.
That being said...
I don't care anymore. Let DC & Marvel wallow in stupidity. I still have good comics to read from people who care about STORIES, not franchise opportunities.
(My latest obsession is a new Image book called Witch Doctor)

Yes, I am assuming that based on his past comments and his support of OMD.
Either way, poster works.

You're assuming it was his choice to erase the Super-marriage. In addition to what Michael said, there's also his 2000 proposal (with Waid and a few others) which was pretty much OMD before OMD.

Right, which just confirms:
1) he still thinks the Super-Marriage was a bad idea 2) he didn't think it was a good idea for a villain to be responsible
However, a universal reboot? Well, that'll do the trick nicely.

As you wish. He's still better than bloody JMS.
