If Jesse did the Green Lantern movie:
Ryan Gosling or Timothy Olyphant as Hal Jordan
David Rees Snell as Kyle Raynor (introduced in the Guy Gardner role, as far as an artist who gets pasted over to be Green Lantern due to him not being near Abin Sur's ship when it crashes; maybe toss in the notion of Kyle being Carol's boyfriend to establish him within Hal's orbit)
John Cho as Thomas "Pieface" Kalmaku, who's "Pieface" nickname is changed to refer to the fact that he's a lady's man who is skilled in the art of performing oral sex on women.
Carlos Bernard (Tony from "24") as Sinestro
Alyson Harrigan as alien Star Sapphire, who is tricked into joining up with Sinestro and Hector Hammond
Eva Longoria Parker as Carol Ferris
Bryan Cranston as Hector Hammond, written to fit the character's original sci-fi conman/social climber status who wants Carol Ferris's money/hand-in-marriage and who ultimately aligns himself with Sinestro in exchange for Sinestro giving him super-powers (telepathy). Doesn't become a big headed paralyzed freak though when he gets his powers.
Edward James Olmos as the voice of Ganthet, who will be CGI
Cybil Sheppard as the Queen of the Zaramons

Plot: Sinestro has already rebelled and gotten his yellow ring, as Abin Sur takes him back to Oa. Sinestro has murdered a lot of GLs by this point and kills Abin as they fly by Earth. Crashing, Sinestro flees to Earth and Abin finds two people worthy of being Green Lantern: Hal Jordan and Kyle Raynor. Hal gets picked because he's closer, as Kyle is in Europe, at an art gallary opening where he's been asked to contribute a painting thanks to Carol's patronage. Hal Jordan, test pilot who joined the military after 9-11 (a move that cost him his engagement to Carol) only to be dishonorably discharged after punching a superior officer over said officer orchestrating another pilot being kicked out of the military for being gay and is now working for Carol again, gets the ring and with his oversexed partner Tom's help, manages to learn how to use the ring with Abin's deathbed instructions as to how it works.
In Europe, Carol and Kyle meet Hector Hammond, who wants Carol's hand in marriage so he can get her money. He frames Kyle by faking emails making it look like Kyle doesn't love Carol/is fucking her only to further his career as an artist and Carol dumps Kyle for Hector. Kyle goes home and bonds with Hal, who gets over his jealousy over how Kyle came along and started dating his ex
Meanwhile. the Zamarons are called in by the Guardians as they start babbling about the prophecy of the War of Light, brought on by Sinestro killing Lanterns left and right with his yellow ring. The Zamarons unveil the Star Sapphire, their answer to the Green Lantern Corps, and send her to find and bring Sinestro to justice.
Sadly, when she finds Sinestro on Earth, Sinestro exploits the Star Sapphire's naivity and belief in love (the source of her powers) by telling her why he went rogue: he kept being forced to leave his homeworld to patrol his space sector and during his absences, a massive cataclysmic industrial accident happened that killed millions of Sinestro's people, including his wife and family. Returning home, Sinestro took over his planet (now in utter chaos) and established a tyrannical rule that brought order to the planet at the expense of freedom. He also stopped answering the Guardians' summons to further patrol his sector of space, leading to Abin Sur to go check on Sinestro and finding out how Sinestro had gone rouge, leading to his expulsion. Sapphire agrees to help Sinestro and the two are joined by Hector Hammond, after Hal (as Green Lantern) uses his ring to expose Hector's scheme against Carol, when Hector arranges for goons (the Demolision Crew) to attack Carol's aircraft company in order to scare her into marrying him by taking away her company. Hector wants power in exchange for his help, getting it in the form of telepathy. Also, we get Goldface in the form of a gold color statue Kyle Raynor made being brought to life by Hector, who uses his telepathic powers to make it come alive, which he uses to try and kill Kyle and Hal.
Hal, Kyle, and Thomas fight Star Sapphire, Sinestro, and Hector Hammond. In the ensuing battle, Sapphire meets Kyle and becomes attracted to him, ultimately leading to Kyle getting Sapphire to see that Sinestro is evil. Sinestro is defeated by Hal, who discovers that Sinestro's ring contains a demon (Parallax) that provides power for Sinestro by feeding upon people's fear of him: fear: by convincing the city to not be afraid of Sinestro, Hal weakens the villain and defeats him. The GL Corp show up and Sinestro is hauled away, though Hector Hammond is able to escape with Parallax (freed when Hal shatters Sinestro's ring with his foot) goes with him in order to plot further revenge against Hal.
The Guardians and head of the Zamarons show up and demand Hal leave Earth to get trained as a Green Lantern/Sapphire give up her ring. Sapphire agrees and gets to stay on Earth, where we find out that her real name is Alex. Alex and Kyle get together, while Hal unmasks to Carol, who has already figured out that Hal was Green Lantern when she first saw his picture in the paper. In a bit of a twsit, Tom and Kyle are offered the chance to be Hal's back-up Lanterns due to the bravery and courage they showed in battle. Both men accept. Hal leaves to go into outerspace, as he and Carol kiss goodbye and vow to resume their relationship when he gets back.
Credits role as we then cut to the void of space, in the Anti-Matter Universe, where the Anti-Monitor is being told of Sinestro's defeat and how they have lost the yellow ring. Anti-Monitor tells his minion to begin work on the Red Power Ring, noting that Red Ring works on rage and that there are thousands of people on thousands of worlds, who hate the Guardians of the Universe enough to become Red Lanterns. Which sets up the second GL film, as far as Hal versus the Manhunters and the Red Lanterns as well as fleshing out the backstory of the Green Lantern Corps.
