It's not just me seeing this, right?
We started this "Volume" with an analogue of Marvel's Civil War - a superhuman leads a government effort to round up and imprison his former friends and allies as well as his enemies in order to supposedly protect the safety of civilians. And Last night, we jumped all the way to Dark Reign; that same superhuman being betrayed by a mentally unstable ruthless killer, and now the traitor superhuman is on the run by the system he created, and the ruthless killer is in charge.
And might I point out: 1) This has happened over exactly 6 weeks, as opposed to 3 years with Marvel 2) At no point has anyone said the ruthless killer/hunter was a good guy, or even the hero of the story. In fact, even when Nathan was being portrayed as sympathetic, the narrative clearly cast him as being in the wrong.
Look, I watch Heroes, but I know it's not the best writing, but that said?
MARVEL YOU'VE JUST BEEN SERVED.
