I want an older Doctor.
I know I'm not going to get one.

Been digging Little Britain USA but I'm kind of saddened to hear that it's coming to an end already. This weekends episode will be the last one for the season. Blech. Went by too quickly if you ask me! I like LITTLE BRITAIN in small doses; I think it works best that way.

David Tennant is leaving. news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/7698539.stmI'm not sorry to see him go. Christopher Eccleston impressed me more in his one year than the two years' worth I've seen of David in the Who role. I like David in other roles, don't get me wrong. And I haven't seen Season 4 yet, so he may have time to change my mind. Let all the speculation for Doctor#11 begin now.

Thinking of reviving my "The Doctor By Numbers" series of reviews, since Michael and I have started our rewatch. We're into Season 3 of Hartnell already, but the earliest eps are still fresh enough in my mind that I can note my highlights and lowlights.
Any interest?

After a decade and a half of trying to find ways around Diamond's strangehold on too many markets, I am pleased to announce that Mike's Comics now carries DOCTOR WHO MAGAZINE again, as of issue #401. Michael and I are currently discussing the mechanics of offering subscriptions, but for now single issues are available from us. We also will be carrying the "specials" associated with DWM, including the Yearbook. In addition, we now carry STARBURST, which appeals to a wide range of fandom interests. Please visit www.mikescomics.com for more neat stuff.

McGann is the least of their problems, actually. Nobody really knows how long the 8th Doctor reigned. Could be he was #8 for 300 years at a stretch. Exactly. Plus my take on the Time War is that the Eighth Doctor is the one who started it, not just took part in it.

I do hope this reunion comes off.
Time dilation's going to get a workout for some of the fellows, though. Tom Baker could play Hartnell, nowadays, and Colin's four times the man he used to be, weight-wise.

Any interest?

While we wait for Papa Bear to get us copies of Series Four, Michael and I have started rewatching from the beginning.
We're up to "The Sensorites", and now I notice the resemblance to the Ood.
