Moving on to music... Owe Thörnqvist, outside Sweden mostly known for totally looking like Chuck Norris: Bullet points: * Born in 1929, he's been active in music for nearly 60 years. * Was the first to introduce rock music in Sweden, way back in the mid-fifties. ("Diverse julboogie" is arguably a rock song and was published in 1955. "Rotmosrock" definitely is, and is from 1956 - the same year Elvis and Bill Hailey had their breakthroughs.) * Was the first to introduce stand-up comedy in Sweden. * Beat up a drunk guy who disturbed the show in 1965, which did not get him a medal but instead got him blacklisted. (As a youth he was a local boxing champion. He also sparred with world champion Ingemar Johansson.) * Last went on tour in 2009, at age 80. * Wrote the song "Wilma" with material from The Flintstones in 1961. When threatened with a lawsuit he used the defense that Wilma was a common name in Sweden and that "Yabba-dabba-doo" was a Swedish war cry. Whether they believed that or not the suit was settled and the song was incorporated in a Flintstones episode:
