And who can see it? I've specifically created a user category - "KBOX DJ" - and, if I did it right, made that the only category that should be able to see the contents of, or post in, the "Phantom Zone" private folder. Let me know if I did it right. And let me know if you want in. Pick me, Bill Tyler! Pick me! (And a gen-u-ine No Prize to anyone who can place the quote....)

Pick me, Bill Tyler! Pick me! (And a gen-u-ine No Prize to anyone who can place the quote....) Can't place the quote. And I think I might wait on the private folder permissions for you, until the rest of the forum gets to know you a little better. No offense, but what gets said there can often be raw, so I want people to feel absolutely comfortable to say it.

sinanju: And it might be helpful to your cause if you introduced yourself in the proper thread. Agreed. Again, it's nothing personal. Give us some time to get to know you, and we'll probably decide we like and trust you.

Pick me, Bill Tyler! Pick me! (And a gen-u-ine No Prize to anyone who can place the quote....) Can't place the quote. From the movie "Mountain Men", in which two...uh, Mountain Men, are discussing a mythical valley where the beaver are so plentiful that they fight one another to get caught in the trapper's snares. "Take me, Bill Tyler--take me!" That's fine. I was just joining the chorus.

I already like his username. It evokes one of my all-time favorite movies, and I followed the novels for several years (until the writers became so bad they became unreadable).

I'm told (by those in the know) that the writers of the recent relaunch have brought the books back to their usual level of quality.

Will Murray levels?
Or...?
I mean, define "usual quality" in this case.
Okay, forget it. I checked. James Mullaney was, the last time I looked, an unreadable mouth-frothing jingoist, in his own way as awful as the writer who followed him. As a matter of fact, I would have dropped the series sooner if I hadn't heard that Mullaney was getting replaced.

I haven''t read the books in years myself, so I'm hardly in a position to judge.
