Sorry, but it's going to be a bear of a time for me to post right now. Thesis submission coming up, testing for brown belt, conferences, family trip planned for the summer etc etc etc... But, figured these my be of interested to the forum, and given I'm probably the only one who still watches Smallville (albiet ironically at this point): I'm sure some of you will want to contribute your own disturbing alternate captions Later, Michael

"What's wrong with this picture?" "ABSOLUTELY NOTHING." Applies to either, but mostly the chain one . "Weakness: Fishnets" is, of course, amusing on any number of levels.

Looking at that one picture, with Justin Hartley in bondage, makes me want to make a crack about how the show's idea of fan service works:
Producer 1: OK, we have a Zatanna episode coming up and we need to give girls something to fawn over to balance out the fishnet stocking fetish male demographic.
Producer 2: Let's do a scene where Justin is tied up! Girls love him and they'll love him even more all tied up in chains!
That said, we REALLY REALLY need a Green Arrow spin-off show to come out of Smallville if and when it gets cancelled, with Justin as the lead.

This is a show that REGULARLY features Justin Hartley shirtless....and that's just in the opening credits.
Just saying.

BTW, the acting in that ep was, well, it was "Smallville"-class acting, but hotDAMN, that woman looks like Zatanna ought to look. It's probably the best piece of straight-from-the-comics casting in the entire series.
And I'm glad they got the costume right. Zatanna's look is nearly impossible to screw up -- top hat, tux, fistnets, high-cut bikini or leotard bottom -- but I never underestimate the Smallville's gangs powers of screwing-up-ed-ness. Even the changes, like the hot pants or the leather jacket, don't hurt much, and I think the jacket actively helps.
