Probably misunderstanding, but in retrospect I think I was also trying to pick a fight to blow off some steam.
The past several weeks my job has mostly consisted of going through old cases of domestic abuse and sexual crimes to see if there are any children involved so we can save the paperwork a bit longer than mandatory in case they want to look at it when they get older. It's not uplifting and it seems to have affected my mood more than I thought.
