Max Allan Collins: Bones - Buried Deep
A mystery novel based on the TV show. Nice easy read, although the show is funnier.

I'm up to maybe ten (unless we're counting audio books which would get me to thirteen or so), with
~9) The Lucifer Effect by Philip Zimbardo
~10) The Da-Da-De-Da-Da Code by Robert Rankin (one of few books with an especially recorded soundtrack)

Mickey Spillane: Survival... Zero!
Another Mike Hammer novel. One step closer to realizing my ambition of getting the complete set. Which is moderately difficult, because they seem to be OOP.

105) Assignment in Eternity by Robert A. Heinlein.
106) Six Science Fiction Plays, edited by Roger Elwood. Includes the original teleplay for "City on the Edge of Forever" with an introduction by Harlan Ellison. When I think "science fiction play" the most obvious candidate is "Rossum's Universal Robots" but I guess that's pretty well-anthologized.

Promenade of the Gods by Koji Suzuki - I still can't remember my exact number, but I think this puts my reading list for this year in the high teens or just in the 20's. Anywho, this book was so not what I expected that it felt like a bit of a sucker punch. It lagged a bit in the middle, but ultimately I did enjoy it. It's getting racked with the horror novels, but it really isn't, closer to a mystery but even that doesn't properly explain it. Anywho, not bad.
