It's instructive to compare this movie with THOR, another film that tried to balance Earth-based plots with more cosmic ones. Thor was close to 50-50. This felt more like 80-20... and the cosmic scenes were the minority. I'm really disappointed that, given the potential for a cracking space opera story, most of the film was Earthbound (and, indeed, in one city).
At this point, I'd much rather see a prequel called Green Lantern Origins: Abin Sur.

Green Lantern in 2 words:
Depressingly mundane.

Amusingly, that exact same quote is on my whiteboard in my cubicle.

Actually, I strongly suspect that Lois Lane won't be in the rebooted Superman at all. She's covered by the rights that DC are losing, so this could be (like the Superman redesign) a chance for DC to get rid of all the things they'd have to pay the Siegels to use. Given that Morrison is specifically calling back to the Golden Age stories, I'm fairly certain that the lawsuit has little to do with the revamp.

That's problematic, since I was tempted with a chance to play The Question. Then go ahead with the Question. You'll just have to think harder to solve the problems. Unlike many roleplayers online… that's what I DO. ;D

Go for it. We still need some characters with actual POWER. The regulars there like their street-level characters. They don't seem to be aware of the biggest difference between Marvel and DC: - A mad God comes to destroy the universe. For the Avengers, it's their biggest adventure ever. - For the JLA, it's Thursday. That's problematic, since I was tempted with a chance to play The Question. Anyway, you're doing DCAU continuity... not a lot of real powerhouses on the hero side. I could play Orion, but he's practically a cipher.

I'm only slightly interested in Action... and I'll probably tradewait for that.
(It's Grant… of COURSE it'll be traded)

I don't know, they made a pretty big jump, IMO. From:
"…explore all facets of it. Not just as it exists currently."
to
"The marriage is being erased!"
While it very well may be true (and I don't really care, either way) I think BC is reading too much into it.

So... someone has tempted me.
I occasionally follow the advice of Oscar Wilde:
"The only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it."

My youngest half-sister recently married an Italian guy and a bunch of their friends and his relatives came up for the wedding. It was fun. (And I mean that in a good way.) Benvenuto alla famiglia!

There are a lot of hobbyists, though. Imagine a 24th century SCA (after the schism when Corpora decided the cutoff was 2000, not 2012)

Not to mention the fact that the speech is given by a manipulative sociopath whose view on reality is likely to be a bit skewed....
